Basketball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. Clair Cyclones and fell 79-40. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 72-48 to them when the teams met back in December of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Clair, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Medford Tigers challenge the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Medford is facing Bethlehem Academy at the right time seeing as Bethlehem Academy is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for St. Clair, they will head out on the road to take on Le Sueur-Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Le Sueur-Henderson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
