Softball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Legacy's Winning Streak

Saturday just wasn't the day for Legacy's offense. They came up short against the South Hills Huskies on Saturday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Legacy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stephanie Salas, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

The loss snapped Legacy's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-6 record. As for South Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1.

Coming up, Legacy is taking a road trip to take on Norwalk at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for South Hills, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Beckman on the 12th.
