There's no place like home for Foley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Foley got a great performance from Connor Laughery as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave Laughery a new career-high.

At the plate, Foley let Luke Bledsoe and Cooper Watkins run wild. Bledsoe scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Watkins scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Bledsoe has posted since back in April of 2024. William Quarles was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Foley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Luke's Episcopal only posted an OBP of .286.

Foley's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Foley beat St. Luke's Episcopal by a score of 8-2 later that day.
