Football Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lutheran fell victim to Shrine Catholic and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Knights. The Warriors lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 14-7 score last time.

Lutheran dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Shrine Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lutheran will challenge Parkway Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The contest will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Shrine Catholic, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cabrini at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
