Soccer Recap: Pisgah vs. Franklin

Pisgah kept a clean sheet against Franklin on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Franklin Panthers 1-0. Even though the Bears got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Diego Gamez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Pisgah's one-goal win came courtesy of Osvaldo Munoz-Valesquez, who's now up to seven this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pisgah and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Pisgah wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against West Henderson on the 21st. Franklin has also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against North Henderson on the 21st.
