Softball Recap: Dowagiac Falls Short Against Ranked Lakeshore

Dowagiac faced Lakeshore in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Chieftains came up short against the Lancers, falling 9-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Chieftains were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Dowagiac and nudges their season record down to 16-2. As for Lakeshore, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dowagiac will welcome Benton Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeshore, they will face off against Portage Northern at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
