Soccer Game Preview: Palmetto vs. TERRA Environmental

The Palmetto Panthers will venture away from home to take on TERRA Environmental at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Palmetto is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Varela just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They and the Vipers finished up their game with a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Panthers happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, TERRA Environmental hadn't done well against Coral Gables recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. TERRA Environmental had just enough and edged Coral Gables out 1-0. TERRA Environmental's winning goal came courtesy of Gabriel Ca?izares.

TERRA Environmental pushed their record up to 9-2-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven contests. Palmetto's draw makes their record 6-2-3 this season.
