Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harding Academy. Trinity Christian Academy was not able to make up for their loss to Harding Academy from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Trinity Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-18.

Mallory Arnold paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up 20 kills. Arnold got some help from Edie Allen and her 26 assists. Arnold was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Trinity Christian Academy now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Harding Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against University School of Jackson on the 30th. Harding Academy has also already played their next contest (against St. George's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
