Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Gets the Win

Holy Cross lost to Wright back in November of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Holy Cross Tigers walked away with a 62-55 victory over Wright.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Wright, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will welcome Carver Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Cross knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Carver Collegiate Academy likes a good challenge. As for Wright, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covington at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
