Softball Recap: Shadow Ridge Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Shadow Ridge was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Shadow Ridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ta'Miyah Hall, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Shadow Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Red Mountain, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Shadow Ridge will head out to challenge Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stallions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mountain Lions have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Red Mountain, they will host Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
