Baseball Recap: Pen Argyl Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pen Argyl can now relate to. They fell just short of the Palmerton Blue Bombers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Knights in their meetings with the Blue Bombers: they've now lost five in a row.

Pen Argyl saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Haros, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Pen Argyl's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Palmerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Pen Argyl nor Palmerton have any future games scheduled.
