On Saturday, Desert Hills earned a 46-39 victory over Elko. The win made it back-to-back wins for Desert Hills.
It was another big night for Eli Allred, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Holman, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Desert Hills' victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Elko, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
Desert Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Elko, they will head out on the road to face off against Churchill County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Churchill County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
