Football Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Enterprise's offense. They were dealt a 58-0 loss at the hands of the Heidelberg Oilers on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Oilers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Chase Craft had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 321 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 30 yards and one score for Heidelberg. That's the most passing yards Craft has posted since back in October of 2024. Kaden Porter was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries.

Enterprise has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Heidelberg, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Enterprise will face off against rival Bay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jake Goodin and Malaki Owens. Meanwhile, Heidelberg is set to square off against their familiar foe Mize at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Craft and Antrell Agee.
