Baseball Recap: Garber Comes Up Short

Garber fell victim to Ripley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Ripley Warriors, falling 8-0. The Wolverines have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Garber's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ripley, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Garber and Ripley will both be playing Coyle the next time they take the field. Garber will host Coyle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Ripley will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
