Paxton finds home court redemption against North Bay Haven Academy

There's no place like home for the Paxton Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against North Bay Haven Academy by a score of 51-44 on Friday. Given Paxton's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while North Bay Haven Academy is ranked 636th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Liam Sadler was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 9 points along with 11 rebounds. Deerlyn Guzman-Lopez was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Paxton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Paxton will be playing at home against Luverne at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will square off against Milton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Milton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
