Basketball Recap: Milburn Takes a Loss

If Milburn was feeling good fresh off their 51-27 takedown of Oklahoma School for the Deaf last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milburn Eagles lost 59-36 to the Mill Creek Bullfrogs on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bullfrogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Milburn's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-13. As for Mill Creek, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Milburn will face off against Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mill Creek has already played their next contest (against Stringtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
