Scituate came out on top against Toll Gate on Saturday thanks in part to Aiden Grover's efforts. Grover produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 88 yards and a pair of TDs. His passing game has become a key predictor of Scituate's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Grover and Scituate will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Narragansett at 11:00 a.m. Grover had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in October of 2024 29-21.
