Soccer Recap: Mount Morris Comes Up Short

After flying high against Perry on Saturday, Mount Morris came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the Warsaw Tigers on Wednesday, falling 5-0. Mount Morris haven't had much luck with Warsaw recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mount Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Warsaw, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4-1.

Coming up, Mount Morris is taking a road trip to take on Perry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Morris will be up against Perry's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.67 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Warsaw, they will be playing at home against Avon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
