Basketball Game Preview: Park City Miners vs. Ben Lomond Scots

The Park City Miners will head out on the road to take on the Ben Lomond Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Park City lost 85-64 to Spanish Fork on Friday.

Meanwhile, Ben Lomond played a tough match on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 84-54 loss at the hands of Juab. The Scots have struggled against the Wasps recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Park City will need focus on slowing down Zeb Whetton, one of several Ben Lomond players who made an impact when they last played. He posted four points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Makale Aytch, who had seven points.

Park City's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ben Lomond, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went Park City's way against Ben Lomond when the teams last played back in February of 2019, as Park City made off with a 69-45 win. Does Park City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ben Lomond turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
