Football Recap: Chattahoochee County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Chattahoochee County's offense. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Macon County Bulldogs on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Jakeyveon Parker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 133 yards and one touchdown, while also catching one TD for Macon County. Parker's longest rush was for an incredible 97 yards.

Chattahoochee County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Macon County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chattahoochee County will venture away from home to challenge Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Macon County, they are taking a road trip to take on Schley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
