Basketball Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 80-61 to the Groveport-Madison Cruisers. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Cruisers are ranked 81st).

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Groveport-Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Circleville at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Groveport-Madison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
