Soccer Recap: Rowlett's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rowlett gave up the first goal on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sachse Mustangs 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in February.

Jesse Salais and Dylan Flores scored both of Rowlett's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

The win was the fourth in a row for Rowlett, bringing their record up to 12-4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Sachse, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.

Rowlett didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 win against Longview on the 21st. Sachse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
