It was a good run, but Goliad unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. The matchup between them and the Poth Pirates didn't end well, with the Goliad Tigers falling 34-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-26 on January 10th.

Goliad's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-16. As for Poth, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goliad has already played their next contest (against Karnes City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Poth will face off against Stockdale at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
