Basketball Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jefferson-Morgan put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 46-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Jefferson-Morgan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dayten Marion, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Marion has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 19 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaymison Robinson, who posted six points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Jefferson-Morgan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethlehem Center only pulled down two.

Jefferson-Morgan's record is now 4-0. As for Bethlehem Center, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Jefferson-Morgan has already played their next contest, a 69-15 win against Mapletown on the 18th. As for Bethlehem Center, they will be home for the holidays to greet Fort Cherry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
