Basketball Game Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. Creekside Seminoles

The Pace Academy Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Creekside Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pace Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Creekside likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Pace Academy didn't have too much trouble with Pebblebrook as they won 76-59.

Meanwhile, Creekside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Midtown and fell 86-46. While losing is never fun, the Seminoles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Knights are ranked 98th).

Creekside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Pace Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

Everything came up roses for Pace Academy against Creekside in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 89-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pace Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
