Baseball Recap: Saint Francis Lancers vs. Leigh Longhorns
Saint Francis took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Leigh Longhorns 5-4. For the Lancers, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Landon Kim tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Saint Francis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Los Altos on the 26th. As for Leigh, they will challenge Hillsdale at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
