While Davies Career & Tech's win against Mt. Pleasant wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Kilties 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Wednesday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Davies Career & Tech who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 29-27, 20-25, 15-11.

Davies Career & Tech's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
