Centauri had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Sanford on Thursday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Centauri won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Kynlei Curtis paced Centauri's offense, picking up ten kills. Curtis got some help from Kenadie Wilfong and her 31 assists.

Centauri has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Sanford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-1.

Centauri didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Colorado Springs Christian on the 3rd. As for Sanford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Center on the 4th.
