After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakota West, Princeton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Purcell Marian Cavaliers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Timaya Crooks paced Princeton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Crooks got some help from Trysta Leach and her 25 assists. Crooks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Purcell Marian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
