Bloomfield waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Gallup Bengals 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 two weeks ago.

Troy Jaramillo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one triple.

In other batting news, Cable Carruth was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Manuel Chavarria was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Bloomfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in eight consecutive contests.

Bloomfield's record is now 15-7. As for Gallup, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bloomfield will face off against rival Aztec at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gallup is set to challenge their familiar foe Miyamura at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
