Foley put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Pensacola Tigers by a score of 54-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

Foley pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Pensacola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Foley Lions duke it out with the West Florida Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pensacola, they and Escambia will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
