Basketball Recap: Anderson County Skates Past Central Heights with Ease

Anderson County won the last time they faced Central Heights and things went their way on Thursday too. The Anderson County Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Heights Vikings 70-35. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Noah Porter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 11 for 14 en route to 24 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. His evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Brylan Sommer was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 19 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Anderson County and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Central Heights, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Anderson County will host Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Heights has already played their next game, a 50-38 loss against Southeast on the 31st.
