Basketball Recap: Brocton Comes Up Short

Brocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 73-29 defeat at the hands of the Westfield Wolverines. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-11.

Brocton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brocton will face off against rival Sherman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Westfield is set to square off against their familiar foe Chautauqua Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
