Basketball Recap: East Paulding Comes Up Short

East Paulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 67-50 bruising from the Villa Rica Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-59 back in December of 2024.

East Paulding's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Villa Rica, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rome the next time they take the court. Villa Rica will host Rome at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while East Paulding will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
