Basketball Recap: Walton Gets the Win

Walton hadn't done well against South Walton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Walton Braves walked away with a 43-36 win over the South Walton Seahawks. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Seahawks back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-43 defeat.

The victory got Walton back to even at 8-8. As for South Walton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Walton and Gadsden County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for South Walton, they will head out on the road to square off against Arnold at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
