Softball Recap: Traverse City Central's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Sault Area last Thursday, Traverse City Central came back down to earth. The Trojans took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Gladiators on Wednesday. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Traverse City Central fell to 2-1. As for St. Francis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Traverse City Central is taking a road trip to take on Benzie Central at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis, they will host Elk Rapids at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Gladiators their first taste of in-conference action this season.
