Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

While Hilton Head Prep was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-23.

Hilton Head Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilton Head Prep will square off against Charleston Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they will challenge Thomas Heyward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
