Basketball Recap: Sevastopol Comes Up Short

Sevastopol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 78-50 to the Kewaunee Storm, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while the Storm are ranked 144th).

Sevastopol's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Kewaunee, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

As of now, neither Sevastopol nor Kewaunee have any future games scheduled.
