Softball Game Preview: Reedsburg Beavers vs. Lodi Blue Devils

The Reedsburg Beavers will challenge the Lodi Blue Devils at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Reedsburg has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stoughton hit Reedsburg with a five-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers came up short against the Vikings, falling 14-4.

Reedsburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucy Klemp, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lodi, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Wisconsin Heights get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Lodi's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Reedsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
