Basketball Recap: Simms Drops Season-High Score on Power/Dutton-Brady

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Simms walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 50-36 win over the Power/Dutton-Brady Titans on Tuesday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Simms' victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Power/Dutton-Brady, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Simms will head out to face off against Heart Butte on Saturday. As for Power/Dutton-Brady, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cascade at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
