Washburn won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went the Washburn Millers' way against the Roosevelt Teddies as the Washburn Millers made off with an 87-63 win. The Millers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.

Roosevelt's loss came despite strong showings from Obie E Esparza and Calvin Peterson. E Esparza went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds, while Peterson went 9 for 17 en route to 23 points and four steals. The matchup was Peterson's third in a row with at least ten points.

Washburn's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Roosevelt, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Washburn is taking a road trip to take on Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
