Softball Recap: Williamson Warriors vs. Addison Knights        
        
		
            
 Williamson won the last time they faced Addison, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Williamson Warriors were the clear victor by  an  8-2 margin over the Addison Knights. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Williamson.
  Kenna Thomas made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   eight  hits (and not a single walk). Thomas has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Thomas was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Lexi Smalley was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 On Addison's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sadie Strauss, who  went 1-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Williamson has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record  this season. As for Addison, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamson will take on Canton at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Williamson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season.
