            The Bald Eagle Area Eagles will face off against the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Bald Eagle Area will be strutting in after a  victory while Bellwood-Antis will be coming in after a  defeat.
Having struggled with six  losses in a row, Bald Eagle Area  turned things around against Penns Valley Area  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp  13-7 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous   game.
 Kaleb Irion made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Irion was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Wyatt Spackman, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Isaac Johnson was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile,  Bellwood-Antis unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against  Bellefonte, falling  7-1. The  match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Bellwood-Antis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cam Swogger, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Bellwood-Antis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bald Eagle Area, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
 Everything went Bald Eagle Area's way against Bellwood-Antis in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, as Bald Eagle Area made off with  a  13-3 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success,  or do  the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
