Basketball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

Kettle Moraine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Arrowhead Warhawks 76-27. The matchup marked the Lasers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Natalie Kussow continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arrowhead, almost dropping a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. Kussow is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sidney Zehner, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 15 points along with eight assists and eight boards.

Kettle Moraine's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Arrowhead, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
