Volleyball Recap: Jackson Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Hannah Jumpawong and Candley Dengah

Jackson lost against Glacier Peak back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Timberwolves lost 3-0 to the Grizzlies. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-13.

Jackson's loss came despite strong showings from Candley Dengah and Hannah Jumpawong. Dengah had 14 assists and six digs, while Jumpawong had ten digs and one assist.

Among those leading the charge was Marcy Mossburg, who had eight digs and five assists.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Glacier Peak, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jackson will square off against rival Mariner at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Glacier Peak is set to challenge their familiar foe Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
