Basketball Game Preview: Pace Patriots vs. Navarre Raiders

After both having extra time off, the Pace Patriots and the Navarre Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Monday, Pace lost to Booker T. Washington at home by a 43-26 margin. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 630th, while the Wildcats are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Navarre was beaten by Tate 89-58 last Friday. The Raiders have struggled against the Aggies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Navarre's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Pace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.

Pace came up short against Navarre when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 52-46. Can Pace avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
