Baseball Recap: Travis Comes Up Short

Travis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lago Vista Vikings, falling 18-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

Travis' loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lago Vista, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Coming up, Travis will welcome Austin Achieve at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Polar Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Rebels will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lago Vista, they will face off against Manor New Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manor New Tech will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Lago Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
