Baseball Recap: Coronado Falls Short of Americas in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coronado can now relate to. They came up short against the Americas Trail Blazers on Friday, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Mustangs couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Coronado's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-11. As for Americas, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6.

While Coronado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
