Baseball Recap: Passaic Finds Home Field Redemption Against Manchester Regional

There's no place like home for Passaic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Manchester Regional Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-1 win.

Angel Mora looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Passaic's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is undefeated (and 2-8 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Adrian Fabian was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Randis Rosario, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Passaic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manchester Regional only posted a batting average of .095.

Passaic's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Manchester Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Passaic will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Clifton at 4:30 p.m. As for Manchester Regional, they will square off against Weehawken at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
