Basketball Recap: Glenburn Has No Trouble Against Harvey

Glenburn won against Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon on Thursday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Glenburn Panther enjoyed a cozy 54-37 win over the Harvey Hornets. While the Panther didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Harvey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylee Keller, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maci Reutter, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Glenburn and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Harvey, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Glenburn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-24 defeat against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] on the 4th. As for Harvey, they will challenge Towner-Granville-Upham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
